fresh. When we found ALlivetext.com, we used the live
Q&A to make our event run smoother."

"We used
the live chat on the video screens at the prom this year and
the kids loved it. They kept requesting songs and the
DJ played their requests."

The 21st
century way to run Q&A
|

|
One of the
most popular uses of ALlivetext is to run question-and-answer sessions
at sales meetings and seminars. It provides faster, higher-quality
interaction.
During the
meeting, audience members or your employees with questions use their
cell phone to send text messages. The ALlivetest moderator selects and
queues the messages with the guidance of your staff. They also can send
replies back to questioners, such as "Can you clarify your question?" or
"Good question -- I'll put you first". As the meeting proceeds, some
questions will be answered in the course of the discussion.
When the Q&A
session starts, the questions are projected for everyone to see, in the
order selected by the moderator:
Contrast this
with the old-fashioned "raise your hand and speak up" method of randomly
gathering questions. By pre-selecting, editing, and ordering the
text-messaged questions, the best questions are asked first. The Q&A
runs more smoothly and efficiently. Also, the anonymity of text message
question-asking encourages attendees who don't like to speak in public,
or who are afraid of seeming to have a "dumb" question.
